We suggested in a recent Below preview that an Xbox One version of Dark Souls 2 would be unnecessary - between Capybara's dungeon crawler and the appealing if derivative Lords of the Fallen, there's plenty to enjoy on the console if you like your action-fantasy decrepit and punishing. From Software begs to differ, it seems. The developer's latest Souls game has now been listed for Xbox One release by Tesco Direct, bringing many months of rumours to a head.
The listing doesn't include a boxart or a release date, though it suggests that the game will arrive before the end of the year. What do you think? Worth buying twice? And how might Dark Souls 2 take advantage of the Xbox One hardware?
