Xbox One Japanese price and launch games confirmed

Land of the Rising One

Following last week's announcement of a Japanese launch date for Xbox One, Siliconera has confirmed the price and launch game line-up.

It looks as though Japanese buyers will be getting rather a good deal, too. With the Kinect, the console comes in at 49,980 yen (around £290) and without the magic-powered camera, it's 39,980 yen (approximately £233).

As for launch games, they'll be able to grab first party titles Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Dead Rising 3, and Ryse: Son of Rome, as well as Square Enix's Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Thief, Murdered: Soul Suspect, and Call of Duty: Ghosts. Other third party games have yet to be announced.

So, things are starting to look up in the east, with the "awesome" Japanese exclusive still to be announced. But how can Xbox One win in Japan? Aoife has your answers.
