As part of their annual N7 day celebrations yesterday, a string of Bioware Montreal employees released a series of interlinking tweets thanking fans for their support, while sneaking in a first look a the next addition to the sci-fi franchise, Mass Effect 4.
Mass Effect executive producer Casey Hudson kicked off the tweets, with a framed and signed picture of the Mass Effect 2 logo along with the words: "As we celebrate N7 day, we look back at the talented people who worked on the Mass Effect trilogy."
"The next chapter of Mass Effect is upon us!!" producer Michael Gamble continued, alongside a picture of someone who looks a bit like like Aaron Paul working on the upcoming game.
The messages continued throughout the day. "With new characters to fall in love with...new enemies to encounter...and new worlds to explore! We continue working hard to create amazing new Mass Effect experiences for you. Happy N7 Day everyone!" A few tweets included what looked like concept art being worked on for the new title; who knows, if you keep looking at it for long enough, you might be able to decipher some new information...
Check the gallery below for larger images. Anyone got any theories to share on what the new game's all about? Bioware producer Fabrice Condominas has previously said it's very unlikely to revisit Shepard's story.
