If you're planning to get hold of some of the heavy hitters later this year you might be interested to hear about GAME's latest promotion, where they're offering upgrades on three of arguably the most popular games straddling the generational gap.
We've reported on similar offers previously of course, but this is the first one - that we know of - that applies to those of us in good ol' Blighty.
The deal then, is that if you buy the Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4 or FIFA 14 from GAME and then trade them in with them before Christmas Eve, you'll get £40 of credit towards the Xbox One version of those three games.
Most interestingly is that this particular deal works cross platform, so if you're coming to Xbox One from Those of Whom We Do Not Speak the offer still applies (and vice versa, although you'll hurt our feelings a bit.) As far as we can tell, the offer only applies to those three games, but in their defence we'd hazard those will be the titles with the biggest uptake of said offer.
Both Activison and EA have previously confirmed that all three of these games will allow you to transfer your play progression and stats from the 360 to One versions, so your progress can come with you. So does this news make the prospect of double-dipping more appealing? Sound off in the comments.
