Pre-order an Xbox One Day One Edition, get Forza 5 free

Second free bundle unveiled by retailers

If you're not a fan of FIFA 14, free or otherwise, and you've yet to pre-order an Xbox One, things are looking up. Microsoft appears to be offering a second Xbox One Day One Edition bundle, which contains a download voucher for a free digital copy of Turn 10's Forza Motorsport 5. Ooh.

At the time of writing, the offer's available at GAME and Amazon - I'll update as and when I spot it on other storefronts. Microsoft has yet to formally comment on the bundle's existence, which was first noticed by Videogamer - it may not be available in all regions.

GAME, incidentally, suggested yesterday that the only way to guarantee purchase of an Xbox One Day One Edition was to buy a £614.98 bundle, including Call of Duty: Ghosts' Prestige Edition. Did you take them up on that particular offer? Because you might want to give them a poke about it. The retailer has now pulled promotional imagery referring to the Forza 5 deal, implying that it has broken a Microsoft embargo.

The edition of Forza Motorsport 5 included with the bundle appears to be the Day One edition, which includes exclusive downloadable cars. The Xbox One itself goes on sale 22nd November worldwide, and both the Day One and standard versions of the console cost £429 or $499.

Thanks to CVG for passing this on.
