Dragon's Dogma DLC to "add new play elements"

Director advises against post-Resi demo trade-in

It may have already confirmed a sequel, but Capcom isn't yet done with OXM favourite Dragon's Dogma, with a recent interview teasing new features coming to the game.

In an interview with 4Gamers noted by Adriasang and VG247, director Hideaki Itsuno advised that people resist the urge to get rid of the game even if you've already used it to access the Resident Evil 6 demo.

"I'm sure many have already cleared the game," he said, "but for Dragon's Dogma, we're continuing to prepare new play elements. It would be best if you held on to the game for a bit." We're guessing that these will be additions to the much-admired combat, which was lovingly detailed in our review.

Apparently the reaction to the game was "better than expected", which we'll take all the credit for thanks to the success of Matt's preview videos. Check 'em out on YouTube. The company recently announced that it's planning on releasing a sequel, which inspired Matt to issue a list of demands for Dragon's Dogma 2.
