Warner Bros has fired over yet another Lord of the Rings: War in the North video, in which the likes of Gandalf and Lord Elrond look on while the playable characters throw Orcs around. You also get to see a producer dressed as a hobbit.
They're still calling it an action-RPG, but there's very little RPG-ness to be had thus far. Everybody's too busy picking which bits of Orc to hack off first to worry about levelling or customising their weapons.
Somewhat absurdly, developer Snowblind describes the great eagle Beleram as "close air support". Bit... Battlefieldy, that. Mind you, we'll take the sudden descent of a massive feathery mincing machine over generic mortar drops any day of the week.
The proof will be in the pudding, and the pudding gets here on 24th August.
